SERIES ADMINISTRATION:
Kent Williamson administers the Central Series with funds paid out by Valley Motor Center Racing, Inc.
Enter the Central Series, run the events, do your best, collect your awards! And along the way win free Goodyear Tires (see rules). Bosch provides each series driver with one free set of spark plugs. Cash awards based on series entries. Total value is estimated at $25,000.

SERIES WEBSITE:
The administrator for the Series website will be Pro-One Motorsports.

RULES:
The $ 500.00 series fee must be paid prior to the first race (FM or FA must be specified, to enter both fee will be $1,000.00).
There will be a different end-of-the-year payoff for each series (FM or FA)
No points may be earned (or tires won) without the series fee being paid. Checks need to be made out to
Valley Motor Center”.
The entry form and check needs to be sent to Kent Williamson.
The Central Series must reach a minimum combined number (FM & FA) of 10 cars – if the minimum entry number is not reached by the first race (GingerMan – April 23,24), your check will be returned to you and the Series will be canceled.
All cars must comply with the SCCA GCR for all SCCA races.
Pass the SCCA technical inspection..
All series sponsor’s stickers must be displayed on the racecar.
All entrant must run on Goodyear tires.
Tire awards will be separate for each series and will be as follows:
FM: 1 set per sanctioned event (additional sets may be awarded at the June Sprints)
FA: 2 tires per sanctioned event (additional sets may be awarded at the June Sprints)
Drivers who have already won tires are not eligible for more tires until everyone has won tires.
Series points for each event will be assigned based on final SCCA result.
The Central Star Mazda Series is an overlap series, officials for the series can point out things to the SCCA
officials but are not SCCA officials and thus do not have the power to change the results of a race.
The series officials do have the authority to affect the series points awarded (i.e. – no sponsor stickers, no series
points).
SCHEDULE:
April 23-24- GingerMan
April 30 - May 1- BlackHawk
June 4-5 - Mid-Ohio
June 25-26 - Road America (June Sprints)
July 2-3 - IRP
August 13-14 - Grattan
POINTS:
All points will be awarded based on the official SCCA qualifying and finishing positions. 1st = 20,
2nd=16, 3rd=14, 4th=12, 5th=11, 6th =10, 7th=9, 8th=8, 9th=7, 10th=6, 11th=5, 12th=4, 13th=3, 14th=2, 15th=1
Pole position: 5 or Fastest FM or FA: 4 or Fastest Series FM or FA: 3 Pole position is for the race group, Fastest FM or FA is only if you are a series entrant. Qualifier: 1 Race Finisher: 2
